Visual illusions

     There are deep explanations and introductions about this topic scientifically. In simple way, visual illusions (sometimes known as optical illusions) are what we experience in seeing things differently than what actually we are looking at. 

    You may have seen many of these things before. See if you have missed any of these illusions from very basic ones to interesting mind catching ones.

Kanizsa Triangle

Here we see a whole white triangle imagined in our mind though there is no such a thing drawn.

There are so many creations based on this illusion.

            

      

Ponzo illusion

Both yellow lines are in same length, but we see like they are different in length.

It happens in perspective images.

Simultaneous Contrast illusion

The horizontal bar is in single color, only the background has a gradient.

Both "A" and "B" blocks have the same color.

Cover the joining line of two blocks, both will have the same color.

Try to catch a black dot.

Muller-Lyer illusion

All straight lines are in same length while we see like they are different.

Zollner illusion

All long lines here are parallel which we see like they are not.
